    Legal Project Management Certification Training Workshop

    Legal Project Management (LPM) is a critical approach for law firm competitive advantage today.  Clients ask for it in many Requests for Proposals and pitches.  Learning what LPM is and how to apply it in your firm is not just for business professionals wanting to become legal project managers.  In some firms, they have trained their entire BD team so they can participate in helping the firm land work from clients where LPM is a differentiator.  In others, they have trained their proposal writers to help “scope” the legal work so that the pricing arrangement fits the work desired by the client, at a price the firm can manage to without write-downs or write-offs.  This LPM certification program teaches all the critical approaches of applying LPM to your firm’s matters and helps you understand how to lead these approaches for winning business.  Participants receive the LPM LaunchPad TM Certificate in the Fundamental Skills of Legal Project Management.

    The Legal Project Management Certification Training Workshop provides a simple yet powerful framework for applying LPM techniques and approaches to your legal matters immediately. The workshop is highly interactive.  You learn from the instructors and the others in the workshop using a case study based on actual legal matters.

    Become a Master Coach

    Coaching is becoming a profession within the legal profession. Learning to become a business development coach or to refine your coaching skills to help lawyers reach their full potential for developing business is a great career opportunity. Through LSSO’s partnership with LawVision, we bring our attendees and members unparalleled opportunity for advancing their careers as business development coaches. Further, our coaching certification will provide you with the training, tools, and credentials to coach lawyers at all skill levels.

    Certification Program Overview

    LSSO offers virtual classroom instruction by sales and coaching experts, accompanied by in house coaches who will provide case studies and examples of the day to day challenges and opportunities they face and discuss the methods for meeting those challenges and leveraging opportunities. An individual one-on-one follow-up meeting or a live coaching session will complete your certification.

    The newest benefit in 2022 for LSSO members only is our quarterly Sales and Service Sips’N’Snips sessions that enable you to interact with other LSSO members while learning/refreshing some practical skills. Each Sales Sips’N’Snips will have time to work on a real company’s fun sales or service challenge to sharpen your sales and service support skills, network with other members, and a short 10-minute Snippet presented by a sales or service expert. The sessions for 2022 will take place on February 9, May 4, September 14, and December 7.  Be sure to register and mark your calendars for these dates.
