POSITION:  Proposal Coordinator

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

As a valued member of the marketing department, the Proposal Coordinator will contribute to a dynamic team by supporting responses to complex Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and presentations. Reporting to the Senior Proposal Writing Manager, the Proposal Coordinator will implement established best practices and processes to produce a high quality business development work product.

Responsibilities

• Produce RFP responses under the direction of Sr. Proposal Writing Manager or other marketing staff
• Coordinate and produce pre-qualification submittals/Requests for Information (RFIs)
• Review proposal requirements and develop Work Plan drafts
• Craft key messages and team differentiation statements to target audience(s)
• Schedule coordination calls/meetings
• Request research packages
• Interact with various firmwide departments to obtain up-to-date information
• Review and edit presentation materials for internal trainings
• Work with creative staff to request graphic materials to support proposals and presentations
• Manage production of drafts and oversee version control
• Coordinate with in-house printing or courier services
• Schedule proposal/presentation review session(s)
• Coordinate final files and logistics
• Maintain organization of team's files within firm's document management system
• Create and update records in firm's record management system
• Provide record copies to select lawyers
• Complete various reporting tasks as needed

Education and/or Experience:

Required:

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited four year college or university

• A minimum of two years of business development, marketing and/or communication experience
• Demonstrated PC experience required: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

Other Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent written communication and proof reading skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
