Janis Nordstrom is now the Global Chief Business Development Officer at Foley & Lardner LLP. Before that, she was Chief Strategy Officer at the European-based law firm Wolf Theiss, and before that, she was Chief Business Development and Marketing Officer for Akerman Senterfitt. Janis will be based in Foley’s Miami office.

Michael Baltes has joined Post & Schell, P.C. as Chief Marketing & Communications Officer, based in Philadelphia. He previously held the same position at Morgan Lewis & Bockius, also in Philadelphia. Prior to joining Morgan, he was Director of Marketing and Communications at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Maura Brandt is the new Chief Marketing Officer at Troutman Sanders. She previously was the Chief Marketing Officer at Miller & Chevalier in Washington, DC.

At Miller & Chevalier, Vonda Hampton has been promoted to Director of Marketing. Previously, she was the Senior Marketing & Business Development Manager at that firm.

Christopher Batio has joined Arent Fox LLP in Washington, DC as Director of Business Development. He oversees business development for the firm’s regulatory practices and its business intelligence program.  Previously he was Senior International Business Development Manager at Steptoe & Johnson LLP in Washington, DC, and Director of Marketing & Business Development at Pierce Atwood LLP in Portland, ME. He has more than 15 years of experience working in professional services marketing.

Steve Carrington is the new Chief Marketing officer at Roetzel & Andress, in Akron, OH. Steve previously was the Director of Marketing at Saul Ewing for more than eight years before joining Roetzel.

Replacing Carrington as CMO at Saul Ewing is Damien Enderle, who was the National Director of Marketing at the national accounting firm CohnReznick, and before that was a Senior Manager at Deloitte.

Julie (GiGi) Zientek has joined Haynes & Boone as their Litigation Business Development Manager. She will work in their Houston office, but will work closely with the Dallas office. Gigi previously was the Houston Marketing and Business Development Manager for Mayer Brown.

Ramlah Bari, previously the Marketing Manager at the accounting firm of Thompson Greenspon & Co. and before that a Senior Marketing Specialist at Cooley Godward, has taken a new position at Jackson Lewis’ Reston, VA, office. She is their Regional Marketing Manager, Mid-Atlantic Region.
